Lachlan is a very sweet girl from Stanislaus Shelter, where she was found as a stray. It's apparent that she has been used multiple times for breeding. She came to us with a skin infection, bad teeth from chewing her skin, and rough skin on her elbows. After she spent a week recuperating at American Vet, her skin is getting better and her mood has improved. She is goofy, playful and just wants to be loved. She needs some time to decompress and be shown stability before she can be adopted.
Pupdate from her foster: "Lachlan loves long walks. She carries her favorite ball from room to room. She isn't a fan of squirrels. Her personality comes out a bit more each day!"
Probably no cats or small dogs for Lachlan, though she does LOVE her people. She really thrives when around her foster and her family. She's not a fan of her crate and has broken out, but has been just fine in the house while they are gone.
Stay tuned for more of her progress!
